Attention 8th Grade Parents:
Packets are going home today from Jostens outlining “Class of 25” merchandise that may be purchased.
Students who are in-person will be signing a “25” so their signature can be used on the purchased merchandise.
IF YOU ARE VIRTUAL, your student may sign their signature, take a picture, and email it to bstroud@cccs.k12.in.us OR you may drop it by the school anytime. Jostens will be able to add their signature to the page.
All online orders are due January 31st. This is a Sunday, so paper orders will be due on January 29th.
Please visit https://view.vidreach.io/q/wlR12wIs for more information.
We are looking forward to seeing our kids on Tuesday at CCMS! Please check Harmony for new schedules. If you do not have access to Harmony, please see an office staff member on Tuesday morning!
Just a reminder: The Washington, DC trip has been cancelled for May 2021. Nations Classroom has emailed each participant with refund options. Please make sure you check your email, as changes MUST be made to your account by December 15th. The school cannot make these changes for you. If you need assistance with this process, please contact CCMS or Tarra Carothers at tcarothers@cccs.k12.in.us. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
We are excited to see our students tomorrow! We are going to do our Red Ribbon/Halloween celebration this week. Please see the attached picture for our dress-up days this week!
Please see the following with links to helpful resources! Thanks to Ms. King for putting this together!

CCMS has a new procedure in hopes of helping parents with virtual learning. Teachers have begun putting an "I" for assignments that are missing in the gradebook. These assignments are not zeros, yet, and may be turned in for credit. The assignments with I's represent what students would get IF they don't turn in an assignment. You may see what assignments are missing by clicking the graph out to the side of each class on Harmony. This will give you a percentage for the class and show student progress, as well. If a student has an I, the parent and student will be able to immediately recognize there is an assignment missing. We hope this helps students and parents identify which assignments are still available to make-up for credit.
Picture re-takes will happen on Tuesday, October 20th, in the morning. You do not require a form. There will be a code to order when they come back. Virtual students may come to get their pictures taken from 9-10AM.
Attention Middle School Families: Report cards for middle school students were due to be published today for viewing. As we ran them today, we noticed some issues and had some technological problems. We are working through those and will notify you when report cards are up and ready to go. We apologize for the delay!!!
Current 6th grade students:
If you are interested in being a part of the 6th grade band, Conrad’s will be having an instrument fitting on October 21st from 4pm-6pm. If you have any questions, you can call the Middle School Band Director Mr. Thena at (812) 827-8750 or email him at mthena@cccs.k12.in.us. We hope to see a lot of you there!

Please check Harmony to see what your child is missing. If you do not have Harmony access, we can help! Call or email the school for an access code.

We had a great first day at CCMS. Students went home with chromebooks and chargers tonight. Please make sure the chromebook is charged tonight and ready to go for school tomorrow. That is the student's responsibility each night. Students also received paperwork regarding the chromebooks which needs to be signed and returned. Tomorrow is picture day.
